So far…

For the first blog of 2020 I’m going to be taking it back to 2019, why? Because 2019 was such a great year for Yellow Glove Productions, I thought it would be nice to say a few thank yous and explain why…

Last year brought Yellow Glove some new challenges, we were busier than we have ever been so making sure we were on top of enquiries, editing and filming was super important. We covered a range of different weddings (including an incredible Willy Wonka one), met loads of awesome couples, travelled abroad to film and to top it all off Yellow Glove Productions won an award! 

A massive thank you to all of the couples that booked with us last year, you were all amazing, every Wedding day is different and we always like to capture every element of the day unique to our couples, making each video that extra bit more special. We also had more bookings for our Hybrid package, which includes the best of both photo and video, a package that we want to push out even more in 2020 as we believe couples do deserve the best of both worlds if they can’t have separate videographers and photographers on their special day. 

Another thank you goes to all of the business that we worked with in 2019; especially the guys over at Incite Video, I worked with the team for a number of shoots including covering the ESPC19 conference in Prague, it was great to get into a different area of video that was new to me, I was able to take a lot of my knowledge from weddings and apply them to the conference; there were speeches, interviews and B roll but no vows to capture, unsurprisingly at a tech conference. 

As I said earlier and as readers may have seen on the Yellow Glove social media pages, we did indeed win an award for Videographer of the Year (East Midlands) at Creative Oceanic’s English Wedding Awards 2019. We had also been nominated as a finalist in the East Midlands part of the Wedding Industry Awards for Videographer of the Year which was a lovely experience. Hopefully with all the hard work we have keep putting in will bring more fun awards nights amongst our industry peers.
